Ingredients

Scale

Puffs Ingredients

  • 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup fresh spinach, chopped
  • 1 egg, beaten (for brushing)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, mix the softened cream cheese, chopped spinach, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  3. Cut the puff pastry into squares, approximately 3×3 inches in size. Add a spoonful of the cream cheese mixture to the center of each square.
  4. Fold the pastry over to form triangles and seal the edges tightly with a fork.
  5. Brush the tops of the pastries with the beaten egg to ensure a golden finish.
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the pastries are golden brown and puffed up.
  7. Serve warm as an appetizer or snack.

Notes

Feel free to add other herbs or spices to the filling for extra flavor, such as dill or a pinch of nutmeg.

These can be made ahead of time and frozen before baking. To cook, bake them directly from frozen, adding a few extra minutes to the total baking time.
